Paul grew up in Wisconsin and was given his first paint gun at the age of 13. He joined the Navy after graduating from high school and went on to get his bachelor’s at Texas Lutheran College right here in Seguin in 1969.

He worked in the paint departments at various trucking companies and gained more and more experience, eventually running their departments. He started his own business in 1974 and never looked back.
